From Turkish school kid to global app tycoon in 60 seconds.

It was a fantastic experience shooting this global brand film for HSBC in 2012 with renowned Australian director Steve Rogers. As one of the most awarded directors globally, regularly featured in the Gunn Report, his talent was immediately evident—calm, focused, and a true expert in crafting authentic emotions and real-life moments.


The film tells the story of a young boy who rises to global fame by developing an app in his bedroom. We shot on location in Istanbul and London, and creating the video game character “Sticky Weasel” specifically for the film added a fun, creative touch.


This project was developed in collaboration with creative Tristan Fitzgerald.
