To stimulate a culture of learning it's good to encourage curiosity, open-mindedness, putting collaboration over ego and seeing mistakes as a chance to improve, among other things.
We can also learn from the knowledge of others. That's why at Nomads, weekly learning sessions are part of the culture; every week another team member holds a talk about a stimulating topic. It could be anything, from the history of Arab cinema to the latest developments in artificial intelligence. But whatever it is, we always leave feeling a little wiser. And as a bonus, the speaker had a chance to sharpen their public speaking skills.
